1. Is it necessary for me to make an appointment to come to
your center?
Yes. Appointments are necessary at the Oaks Women's Center. We suggest making
appointments at least 2 weeks in advance if possible.
2. Are there any preparations for my
ultrasound?
No. There are no preparations for the ultrasounds. There is no need to drink
water or fast before your appointment.
3. Do I need to arrive early to fill out
paperwork?
No. You should arrive at your schedule time. Please make sure to call our
office if you will not be on time or cannot make your appointment.
4. Does your site allow/provide video taping of
ultrasounds?
No. We are strictly a medical facility. The use of personal video equipment is
prohibited.
5. Can I bring family members with me into the
ultrasound room?
We are a family oriented site and we welcome those close to you to share in
this experience. However, we do ask that you limit the number of people and
children to allow the sonographers and the perinatologist to devote their full
attention to the ultrasound being done. Our primary concern is that we provide
our patients with the highest level of service
